GuestLot vs Urable and Tint Wiz

This is not really a versus. Urable (urable.com) and Tint Wiz (tintwiz.com) are vertical CRMs for tint, PPF, and detail shops — quoting, scheduling, film inventory and plotter workflows, customer communication, payments. They are good at running the business.

Neither one touches vehicle custody, key handling, Tesla authorization, or the evidence you would need if a customer disputes damage. GuestLot sits next to them, not instead of them. Most shops should run both.

What these CRMs are genuinely good at

A shop that quotes fast, schedules cleanly, and gets paid on time is a shop that survives. That is the job Urable and Tint Wiz do, and they do it with domain knowledge a generic CRM does not have — film patterns and plotter integration, coverage packages, deposits, review requests, the specific way a tint quote differs from a detail quote.

If you do not have one of these, that is a bigger gap in your operation than anything on this site. Go fix that first.

Where the CRM stops

A CRM records that a job was sold, scheduled, and completed. It does not record what happened to the vehicle while you had it. Those are different questions, and only one of them comes up when a customer calls on Monday about a scuff.

The liability side of that gap is spelled out in the garage keepers guide: your coverage may only respond if you can show reasonable care, and a job ticket is not a custody record.

Side by side

Running both

That last line is not false modesty. A shop with no scheduling system has an operations problem; a shop with no custody record has a risk problem — and risk problems only bill you occasionally, which is exactly what makes them easy to ignore until the day they do.
